Job Title: Occupational Therapist
Job Summary:
We are seeking a passionate and experienced Occupational Therapist to join our team. As an Occupational Therapist, you will work with patients of all ages to help them overcome physical, mental, and emotional barriers to achieve independence and improve their quality of life. You will design individualized therapy plans, assess patients' needs, and provide hands-on therapy to help them regain skills for daily living.
Responsibilities and Duties:
- Conduct patient evaluations and assessments to determine their specific needs and goals
- Develop personalized treatment plans and interventions based on patients' individual needs and goals
- Provide hands-on therapy to improve patients' motor skills, endurance, strength, and coordination
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals, such as physicians, nurses, and social workers, to provide comprehensive care for patients
- Educate patients and their families on techniques and strategies to improve their independence and quality of life
- Monitor and track patients' progress and make adjustments to treatment plans as needed
Qualifications and Skills:
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program
- State licensure and certification as an Occupational Therapist
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Compassionate and patient-centered approach to therapy
- Experience working with patients of all ages and backgrounds
